Regional wine of Corinth, red dry.
Variety composition: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot.
Terroir: Kalivia and Limni in Asprokampos.
Vinification:The grapes are kept separately.Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes are fermenting for 25 days with the skin.The Petit Verdot ferments with the skin for 12 - 13 days.The wines ages apart for 15 - 18 months in France and American oak barrels until the time has come to blend them.
The wine takes it's name from the altitude of the winefields where the grapes grow.(815 meters above sea level).
Ageing for 10 - 12 years.
Tasting characteristics : Bright, deep ruby colour with purple hints. Rich and intricate bouquet, earthy, dominated by leather and cherry brandy aromas, with a peppery and plumy background. Generous, full-bodied, chewy, robust wine with a velvety taste, and vanilla, wood, mocha and toffee hints. Slightly tannic finish with a long persistence of aromas
Limited production of 2.600 bottles.
