Location: The vineyards extend across southwest locations of the low hills of Maronia, giving the impression of a gigantic amphitheatre that overlooks the Aegean .
Climate: The particular climatic characteristics of the area protect the vineyards all year round from any extreme temperature fluctuations. In the summer, the high temperatures are moderated by a similar to the ebb and tide wind phenomenon: On the one hand, a fresh northerly wind from Mt. Ismaros and on the other from the south the wind “Samothraciotis” (originating from the island Samothrace) and the mild and humid sea breeze of the Aegean Sea.
Varietal composition: 100% Chardonnay.
Character: Uniquely handcrafted wine, golden, with intense ripe fruit flavours, surprising clear acidity with a lovely finish.
Serving suggestions: A delicious wine, especially with smoked salmon, lightly seasoned white meats and cheese souffle.
Serving temperature: Best served at 10 – 12 oC.
