Estate Biblia Chora red
Characteristics: A deep purple in colour, the wine is matured for about 12 months in new oak barrels from France. It has a pure and complex bouquet of ripe red fruit, caramel, cedar, chocolate and some spicy notes on the finish. A full and intense flavour with a full body, good structure and a high tanins content which provides a lasting aftertaste and good potential for ageing.Varieties: Merlot 50%, Cabernet 50%
Avaton by Estate Gerovassiliou
Produced by the Greek indigenous varietals of Limnio, Mavroudi and Mavrotragano; Limnio – also mentioned by Aristotle – is the oldest attested Greek variety.
Maceration, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are induced in Burgundy oak tanks and the wine is matured for 20 months in new French oak barrels.
Syrah by Estate Gerovassiliou
Produced from the Domaine's old vines (Petit-Syrah) that are more than 25 years old.
Vintage takes place mid September, maceration and alcoholic fermentation duration is approx. 20 days. Malolactic fermentation follows and thereinafter the wine ages for 24 months in new oak barrels in the basement cellars.
